McCulloch back for Gers

Rangers are boosted by the return of Lee McCulloch for the Irn-Bru Third Division game against East Stirling.

The skipper has been sidelined since early January with an ankle problem but is back in contention for the clash at Ibrox.

But boss Ally McCoist is without Ross Perry, who suffered a hamstring injury against Berwick last weekend, while Lewis Macleod, Kevin Kyle and Darren Cole remain in the treatment room.

The runaway leaders have scored 11 goals in their previous two encounters with the visitors this season.

East Stirling will be without suspended full-back Steven Jackson.

Nathan Shepherd is expected to return to the side in Jackson's absence while midfielder Philipp Zufle is available after recovering from an ankle problem.

But Michael Herd has been ruled out after suffering a groin injury during last weekend's 3-2 win over Elgin while Rhys Devlin is again missing due to a knee problem.

Head coach John Coughlin said: "We are going to Ibrox on the back of our best run of the season so we can enjoy it without having any pressure on us in terms of needing to get a result.

"I will ask the boys to go out and show that they are decent footballers who can play decent football and see where that takes us."
