Duo missing for Rangers

Rangers will be without Barrie McKay and Anestis Argyriou for their Irn-Bru Third Division game against Clyde.

McKay (foot) and Argyriou (ankle) were both forced out of the midweek friendly against Linfield and will miss Saturday's clash at Ibrox.

Chris Hegarty is suspended for the visit of the Bully Wee, while a congested treatment room means several youngsters are likely to be added to the squad.

Gers midfielder has Lee McCulloch has urged his team-mates to retain their focus despite the league title being in the bag.

"As players and management, and as a club, we've had a really good season," he said.

"The pressure is off slightly but, at a big club like Rangers, there is always going to be pressure on you to perform.

"At times last week against Queen's Park, we played really well and passed the ball well. Hopefully we can do that again.

"It's a tough game. We got our first away win of the season against them but they've got some good players.

"Hopefully the fans turn out and we can put on a show for them."

Clyde head to Ibrox without striker Stuart McColm who looks set to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The Bully Wee are also without Michael Oliver (knee), David Marsh (groin), Gavin Brown (hamstring) and Gary Glen (ankle), with manager Jim Duffy asking his men to make the most of the occasion.

Duffy said: "We have won three out of our last four games and are playing well. This could be the last huge crowd that our players play in front of for a while so I ask them to do themselves justice.

"We have done okay against Rangers but they have scored wonder goals against us in every game so far. It would be good if we scored a wonder goal in this one."
