The Scottish Football Association are studying details of Sevco's plans for reviving Rangers as debate continues over what level the Ibrox club should play at next season.
Sevco submitted documents on Friday relating to their application to assume Rangers' SFA membership having already bought the assets and business.
Chief executive Charles Green had sent a letter applying for membership seven days earlier but the SFA requested details about the investors and the officials' suitability for running a football club along with their plans.
It was agreed that Green would provide the details before this weekend.
An SFA spokesperson said: "We can confirm that we have received, through our lawyers, an information pack from Sevco Scotland relevant to their membership application, which we will review in early course."
Green still has to find a league to play in with Scottish Football League clubs still to be convinced about the merits of putting the newco Rangers into the Irn-Bru First Division.
Carrying on where Rangers left off in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League looks even more unlikely with St Mirren joining six other clubs in opposing the move. Motherwell fans have now had their say and the club is set to announce the result of their ballot.
Dunfermline said they would not approve any plan that put the Govan club in the First Division if they were given a vote, joining Morton, Raith Rovers and Falkirk in rejecting the idea.
Dunfermline were relegated from the SPL last season but would not return under plans submitted to SFL clubs, which also include promotion play-offs and a merger of the two league bodies.
The Pars said in a statement: "The revised proposals we have reviewed contain a number of suggestions that are entirely credible in isolation and everyone agrees that the structure of Scottish football must change. But it must be done for the right reasons and not used as some form of bargaining tool."
