Rangers duo sent home from training

The news comes after the pair were dropped from the starting line-up for Scotland's crucial World Cup qualifier against Iceland in midweek. Scotland manager George Burley benched his skipper and his Gers team-mate after it was discovered that both had undertaken an all night drinking session after the 3-0 defeat to Holland on Saturday. However the controversy didn't end there. Both were then photographed on the bench making obscene gestures in front of a packed Hampden Park crowd. Scotland coped well without the pair as they went on to win 2-1 and keep their World Cup dream alive. But the recent sequence of events could spell the end of not just Ferguson's tenure as Scotland captain but his international future as a whole. Meanwhile the timing of the incident could not have come at a worse time for McGregor after recently establishing himself as the Tartan Army's number one. Rangers 2/5, Draw 10/3, Falkirk 15/2
