Rangers accused of 'ulterior motive' re 1961 disaster commemoration.

Scotzine owner and 'journalist' Andy Muirhead has crossed the line. Only two weeks ago Celtic fan Muirhead was involved in a breach of protocol which caused his access rights to be revoked. http://blogs.pressgazette.co.uk/wire/8162 As he said himself: "There was also another issue with several comments which I made on my twitter page." Quite. Today he has gone one step further in demonstrating his complete lack of decency and suitability for such a career. Rangers will on Sunday have a wreath-laying ceremony before the match and black armbands will be worn in remembrance of the events of September 16th 1961. Tommy Thomson and George Nelson lost their lives that day, and more than fifty others were hurt in a crush after a derby match with Celtic. Today we see the vile side of someone who runs what purports to be a website and fanzine 'dedicated to Scottish football' but what increasingly resembles an extremist outpost. Here is a sample of his Twitter criticisms and accusations from today.     So the decision to honour those who died at our stadium is now automatically considered to be something to 'hide' news. Despicable: but there's more to follow. Now we have the extraordinary notion that Rangers should not remember their dead. But he saved the best for last - a revealing insight into the dangerous and diseased mindset of Mr. M.     So there you have it: it's all to make Ra Sellik fans look bad. Quite how he comes to that conclusion - especially when no mention is made of a silence - is beyond any reasonable reader. It goes without saying that Mr. Muirhead should be denied access to Ibrox stadium for the rest of his days but it would also be helpful if his peers demonstrated a willingness to distance themselves from this sort of commentary. This is depraved, base stuff.
