    Rae eyes England move

    28 Mar 2007 - 11:49:54

Rangers midfielder Gavin Rae has revealed he is planning a move to England when his contract expires in the summer.

The 29-year-old Scotland international has admitted his Ibrox career is over after an injury-ravaged three years with the Glasgow club in which he has made less than 30 appearances.

"It looks like this is going to be my last season at Rangers as my contract is up at the end of May and I've not been offered anything," he told the club's official website.

"I think I would give England a go. After leaving Rangers there aren't many teams you would like to go to in Scotland.

"If would be difficult. If I got the chance I would probably move to a club in England.

"There are other players who have made a success of a fresh start down there and there are certainly some big clubs.

"If I got the chance to play for one that would be great."
