Proof Hearts were cheated by added-on time.

Officials are unfair on Edinburgh side. Plucky Hearts were cruelly denied the chance of a point, or more, by the officials insistence on five added minutes at Tynecastle. Those of you with access to a recording of yesterday's game can see for yourselves. Second-half injuries requiring the physio (all timings relate to game stoppages) Johnsson (52:07 to 53:10) Black (57:48 to 58:48) Jelavic (67:11 to 69:18) In total, around 4 minutes and 10 seconds to add. To that, we must add the four substitutions (Obua, Jelavic, Skacel, Black = 4 x 30 seconds) = 2 minutes. Even dismissing the timewasting involved, and the four second-half bookings, and the time which may be added on after a goal in added-on time, this comes to over SIX minutes. Hertz were given only five to survive and further cheated by the accepted wisdom - perhaps it is a secret Establishment rule? - that only Rangers were allowed to score in the time added on. One can only hope that the Scottish media make much of this in days to come: only five when six was due!
