Potters pair set to make moves
Michael Tonge and Carl Dickinson are both being tipped to leave Stoke City next week, to Rangers and Preston respectively.[LNB] The Herald reports that former England Under-21 midfielder Tonge has been offered to Gers boss Walter Smith on a season-long loan deal.[LNB]The 27-year-old, who had spells at Derby and Preston last season, has failed to make an impact at the Britannia Stadium since signing from Sheffield United for £2million in 2008.[LNB]Meanwhile, it has been reported in Lancashire that left-back Dickinson has signed for Preston for £750,000, even though the 23-year-old is currently on tour with the Potters in Austria.[LNB]Nevertheless, North End boss Darren Ferguson is known to be keen on the defender and a transfer could be confirmed early next week.
