Penny Arcade Launch Night

13 April 2011 12:39
Louden Tavern, Kinning Park - Friday 15th April, 8pm Entry is free!  Come and support the charity project! Sammy King - is a 70 year old Yorkshireman and Huddersfield Town fan who wrote "Penny Arcade" made so famous by Roy Orbison. Sammy was over the moon when he first discovered his song being sang at Rangers games and in Gers bars all over the country. He was even more happy at the idea to honour our servicemen as Sammy is a big supporter of Help For Heroes. I am delighted to announce that Sammy has given us the rights to the original song and all his support to release it into the charts, all profits will be going to Erskine as a charity Rangers single. This weekend  the link to iTunes will be launched - and we hope to raise thousands from the sales to go to such a worth cause and get the single to Number One in the charts!Facebook group - http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_111511662257861
