Papac: Gers keen to make amends

Sasa Papac has urged his Rangers team-mates to make amends for their recent Scottish Cup exit to Dundee United at Tannadice tomorrow night.[LNB] The Scottish champions saw their hopes a domestic treble shattered when they crashed out of the cup the last time they visited Tayside, with United having since booked their place in the final.[LNB]Victory this time would allow Rangers to move to within one game of retaining the championship at the same venue they claimed the crown almost 12 months ago on the final day of the campaign.[LNB]And they could even clinch the title at Tannadice if Celtic lose to Motherwell tonight.[LNB]"It will be a difficult game because Dundee United are now on form and they are a great team," Papac said.[LNB]"But we have shown this season we can play well against them and I believe we can be good against them again in this game.[LNB]"There are six games to go and the finish to the season is very important for us. We need two games to win the championship."[LNB]Papac added: "It's totally different this year. Last season we tried to catch Celtic all season and we played until the last game not knowing who would win the league.[LNB]"This season is different because we have a good gap and 13 points is great.[LNB]"But, if you play for Rangers, you have to give your best in every game."[LNB]Meanwhile, the left-back admits to being totally baffled by the SPL split once again after Rangers were handed three consecutive away games against Hibernian, United and Celtic.[LNB]He said: "I don't understand it really. I've been here for four years and I don't understand it.[LNB]"Who plays against who in the last five games and who is home or away - it's strange for me.[LNB]"We have two games at home and three away and that is a little bit strange."[LNB]
