Novo keen to stay

Rangers striker Nacho Novo is keen to sign a new contract at Ibrox before his current deal expires at the end of next season.
The 27-year-old has scored 35 goals in 106 appearances since moving to the Gers from Dundee in July 2004 and has been a regular since winning his first-team place back four months ago.
Novo told the club's official website: "I have one year left on my contract and, although I would love to stay here, the choice is not just up to me.
"I need to keep working hard in the next few months and see what happens. I have to prove myself to Walter Smith and sometimes I get down when I am not playing.
"If I keep my head up though and work hard then I am confident I can be a good player for the team.
"Walter is a top manager and has a good reputation in the game. It's been a pleasure to work with him so far and we have done well since he came in."
