Novo injury blow for Rangers

The Spaniard underwent scans on Wednesday following a training accident last Friday and the initial prognosis was proved correct.[LNB]Novo will see a specialist next week in a bid to find a course of treatment that will enable him to return to action as soon as possible.[LNB]But the 30-year-old, who scored in the 3-2 friendly win over Manchester City just over a week ago, is definitely out until at least next month.[LNB]The news is a blow to manager Walter Smith as Kyle Lafferty is suspended for the first three SPL matches of the season - Falkirk on Saturday, Hearts on August 23 and Hamilton on August 29.[LNB]Kenny Miller, Kris Boyd and Steven Naismith are all set to feature this weekend.[LNB][LNB][LNB] Rangers 1/5, Draw 5/1, Falkirk 14/1
