No Murphy bids in - Well boss

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has denied reports that Bolton and QPR have made bids for Jamie Murphy. [LNB] The Premier League sides are both believed to be monitoring the situation of the striker, who has previously been linked to Rangers. [LNB]But McCall has poured cold water on speculation that a £700,000 offer has been tabled for the 21-year-old. [LNB]"We have had no contact from either Bolton or QPR so I don't know where this has come from," he told the Evening Times. [LNB]"I worked with Neil Warnock, the QPR manager, for over five years so I would like to think he would let me know if he was interested in one of my players. [LNB]"On top of that, £700,000 is nowhere near our valuation of Jamie. But the bottom line is he is under contract here until 2013 and going nowhere right now. [LNB]"Jamie has a key part to play for us over the season ahead and he knows how highly we value him. Right now I am concentrating on bringing in new faces, not losing key players."
