No McGregor move - Buddies
St Mirren have dismissed reports defender Darren McGregor is being lined up for a £200,000 summer move to SPL champions Rangers.[LNB] The 25-year-old only made the move to Paisley from Cowdenbeath last summer, but he had an impressive debut season in the SPL, winning a clutch of Buddies' supporters awards.[LNB]He still has a year to run on his present deal and the Saints have on intention of letting him go to Ibrox.[LNB]General manager Brian Caldwell said: "We have not had contact from any club with regards to any of our players. (Manager) Danny (Lennon) has been working hard over the last few weeks to try to build a squad that will improve on the performances of last season. [LNB]"Our focus remains on strengthening the squad over the summer."
