    Naismith praise for Hutton

    07 Jan 2008 - 11:44:03

Rangers striker Steven Naismith says that team-mate Alan Hutton has not allowed transfer speculation to put him off his game for the SPL leaders.

Scotland right-back Hutton recently rejected a big-money move to Tottenham Hotspur, but Naismith says that his colleague is still fully focused on doing his best for the Gers.

He commented: "He hasn't really changed, he hasn't let it affect him.

"He's been his normal self in training. He's doing tremendously well. He's loving his football at the moment and he seems to be taking it all in his stride.

"I'm sure that if he didn't have the people around him that he has it could have affected him. But there are some great people at the club to keep his feet on the ground and to give him great advice.

"It is a boost Alan staying. If he wasn't there, it is going to take a bit out of the team.

"He has been a massive part of it since the start of the season. I don't think you could replace him."
