Steven Naismith says it has been a positive start to Scotland's Euro 2012 qualification campaign despite the performance against Liechtenstein.[LNB] Scotland were heading for an embarrassing draw at home to Liechtenstein on Tuesday until Stephen McManus secured a 2-1 win in the seventh minute of stoppage-time.[LNB]The team had been booed off at half-time at Hampden Park with the game scoreless, but Naismith feels the nature of the victory is a sign of the spirit within the Scotland camp.[LNB]The Rangers forward, who appeared as a substitute against Liechtenstein after starting the 0-0 draw in Lithuania, believes Craig Levein's side can be satisfied to be top of Group I after two games.[LNB]Naismith said: "In general we have got a good team spirit, but nights like that just bring you that bit closer.[LNB]"We have been unlucky in previous campaigns with not getting late goals we needed.[LNB]"But this time we got one we needed. It just makes it a very good start to the campaign.[LNB]"It's early days, but the first thing the manager wanted was a solid base and not to concede cheap goals and be hard to break down.[LNB]"We have shown that, especially in the first game against Lithuania.[LNB]"We pushed on (against Liechtenstein) and got goals so it has been a positive start and the manager definitely has all the boys behind him."
