Miller picks up fresh problem
13 May 2009 - 13:21:06
Rangers striker Kenny Miller will miss Wednesday's trip to Hibernian following a recurrence of a hamstring injury.
The Scotland striker made his first start in almost two months in Saturday's Old Firm win over Celtic.
Miller aggravated a previous injury during the clash at Ibrox and will miss the midweek trip to Easter Road.
However, manager Walter Smith hopes to have the 12-goal striker back for Saturday's meeting with Aberdeen as his side look to claim the SPL title.
"It's a blow because we were pleased with the way he played on Saturday and I was hoping he would stay injury free until the end of the season when we could get it looked at again," Smith told the club's official website.
"I'm hopeful if he gets a couple of days rest he'll be okay for Saturday."
