Miller concentrating on United game

Kenny Miller insists Rangers' battling 3-2 victory over Kilmarnock sets them up perfectly for a make-or-break Champions League clash with Manchester United.

The Scottish champions fought back to claim all three points, with Miller netting a hat-trick. Walter Smith's men managed to deliver the goods as they moved three points clear of Celtic at the summit of the SPL.

Miller knows Rangers must show their grit and determination again to overcome United on Wednesday as they battle to keep their hopes of a last 16 place alive. And he said: "Of course this win sets us up nicely. We will have to soak up a lot of pressure and we will have to win the game if we are to have a chance of qualification."

He added: "We were disappointed with how we played on Saturday but we've got to be positive going into the game on Wednesday night."

Wayne Rooney is set to be unleashed in Glasgow after returning from injury as a substitute in Saturday's 2-0 win against Wigan.

Miller added: "He is a fantastic player but he is one of many they've got.

"It's not Wayne Rooney we will have to worry about, it will be the whole team, whether it be (Dimitar) Berbatov, Nani, (Paul) Scholes or (Ryan) Giggs.

"It's going to be a tough night for us and we are going to have to ride our luck and play well and hopefully take the chances when they come along."
