Mendes pledges future to Rangers

The Portuguese midfielder only moved to Ibrox last summer on a three-year deal, but has fallen in love with the club and Glasgow.[LNB]Mendes, 30, told the Daily Record: "I have enjoyed everything about the club. I love the club, the city and the family have settled well so I am enjoying myself in Glasgow.[LNB]"If the club comes to me and asks me to sign a long-term contract, I would talk with them and be willing to stay for a long time yet."[LNB]Meanwhile, Christian Dailly says he has loved every minute of his 16-month spell at Ibrox.[LNB]The former Scotland defender, 35, left Rangers this week after his contract expired.[LNB]Dailly, who finished his career at the club on a high after helping them land a league and cup double, said in the Scottish Sun: "It was a great thing for me to come to Rangers. I had always wanted to try something like it.[LNB]"I had always been at clubs who weren't expected to win every week. But I have always been a player who does expect to win every week.[LNB]"I could never understand the underlying mentality at some clubs that you might not win.[LNB]"I felt that we should be looking to win every single game.[LNB]"The great thing about being at Rangers was it felt so natural for me to play and expect to win. It was a brilliant experience and an amazing place to play football."[LNB][LNB]
