McInnes urges Fergie to choose Baggies

McInnes, who was a recent contender to replace Tony Mowbray as Albion boss, believes Ferguson's Premier League ambitions would be better served with a move to West Brom. Albion are extremely interested in the midfielder who is available for a bargain £1million after Rangers decided to cash in on their former captain. "If Barry asked me about the club I'd have nothing but good things to say about it," McInnes told The Birmingham Post. "Barry is in a fortunate position and ultimately he will be the one who makes any decision over his career. But West Brom would be a great move for him. They have fantastic facilities, a great support and everything there is geared towards Premier League football. "Having come down last season, they will start among the favourites to win the Championship and that requires players with mental strength to handle expectations. Over the years Barry has proved he has that in spades."
