McGregor puzzled by Pittodrie record

Allan McGregor wants Rangers to put their Pittodrie pain behind them by winning at Aberdeen in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League on Sunday. The Ibrox side have not won away to Aberdeen in almost four years and that is a statistic the champions, and McGregor in particular, will be hoping to change.Libor Sionko and Nacho Novo were the goalscorers when Rangers ran out eventual winners back in December 2006.And goalkeeper McGregor - who was part of that team - believes it is time Walter Smith's men improved their record in the Granite City.He said: "I'm not quite sure why it's such a difficult place to go to. When teams outside the Old Firm go to Pittodrie the crowds are not as big and the atmosphere is not as intense, so perhaps the players find it more difficult to get up for those games."We haven't won up there for a long time. Hopefully we can this weekend."
