McGregor forced to wait for verdict

Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor will find out on Saturday whether he has been handed a one-match ban for aiming a kick at Chris Maguire during the SPL victory against Aberdeen almost a fortnight ago.

McGregor will play for Scotland in their Euro 2012 qualifier against the Czech Republic before he learns his fate, although the SFA's review panel have already made their decision.

The SFA's new chief executive, Stuart Regan, decided that the video review panel should look at the incident.

An SFA staff member said: "A decision has been made and letters have been sent to both Rangers and Allan McGregor by recorded delivery."
