McGregor in sexual assault probe

Allan McGregor is set to play for Rangers on Saturday, amid allegations he sexually assaulted a young woman.[LNB]Strathclyde Police confirmed on Thursday they were probing the claim, which goalkeeper McGregor has branded "a vile lie".[LNB]The 27-year-old has not been arrested and manager Walter Smith revealed on Friday afternoon he had no plans to leave the player out of Saturday's Scottish Premier League game at Hamilton.[LNB]"He will still be in the plan for tomorrow," said Smith, who was confident McGregor is in the right frame of mind to play football.[LNB]He added: "You'd need to ask to ask him how he's feeling.[LNB]"It's very difficult for any of us to comment on the situation as we don't know the full aspect.[LNB]"He will be involved in the team tomorrow and we will leave it at that."[LNB][LNB]
