McGregor fit for Old Firm derby
He was thought to be a doubt for the Old Firm clash after being attacked after a night out last weekend and sustaining injuries to his eye.[LNB]The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning following a night out and left McGregor with a black eye.[LNB]Smith confirmed the player would not be disciplined following the incident.[LNB]And, when asked if he was in the right frame of mind for such an important game, the Rangers boss replied: "I'm sure he will be."[LNB]He added: "Allan McGregor is just like a lot of other goalies - terrific in the goal, they just seem a bit wayward elsewhere.[LNB]"There's got to be something the matter with them to want to play in goals anyway.[LNB]"He has been excellent for us and that's something that we have to take into account as well."[LNB]Lee McCulloch is also expected to be available for selection despite suffering a knock in training on Friday morning.[LNB]Gers (from): McGregor, Whittaker, Papac, Weir, Bougherra, Beasley, Lafferty, Davis, Thomson, McCulloch, Miller, Boyd, Novo, Edu, Little, Wilson, Wylde, Alexander.[LNB][LNB]
