McCulloch, who spent much of this season playing under Durrant for the club's reserve side, believes the former Ibrox star has played a significant contribution towards the winning of the SPL and Homecoming Scottish Cup.[LNB]Manager Walter Smith and assistants Ally McCoist and Kenny McDowall have taken most of the plaudits but McCulloch told Rangers News: "Durranty's brilliant and he always wants to help the boys in our team, particularly the younger lads and ones who haven't been here that long.[LNB]"He's a great guy to have about and is always there to offer you a wee bit of advice or support.[LNB]"Ian's just as important as anyone else in our squad, even if he's there in the background a lot rather than the limelight.[LNB]"He doesn't get many headlines or a lot of the plaudits because the focus is rightly on the gaffer, Coisty and Kenny.[LNB]"When he talks, all the boys listen to him - and I'm talking about experienced lads such as Davie Weir as well. He's fantastic to have around."[LNB]With the exception of DaMarcus Beasley and Madjid Bougherra, who are on international duty, Rangers' players will now enjoy a hard-earned holiday.[LNB]McCulloch may only have played a bit-part role during the season but that will not stop him enjoying the club's accomplishments.[LNB]"It has been an amazing feeling for us all to be as successful as we've been and I include the foreign boys in that," he said.[LNB]"They all know what it means to be a Rangers player now.[LNB]"Getting over the finish line was important on Saturday because it secured us the double and hopefully we can now look to build on our achievements again next term."[LNB][LNB]
