McCulloch awaits calf diagnosis

The Gers star was initially told he is likely to be out of action for between two and four weeks.[LNB]McCulloch - who has been impressive in the holding role in recent matches - is hoping to be fit in time for the Co-operative Insurance Cup final on March 15.[LNB]He told the club's website: "I felt as if I had been shot in the leg last week but it is feeling better now. Hopefully the scan will be positive."[LNB]DaMarcus Beasley was also injured in the 4-0 win following a challenge from Elliot Smith, which earned the Forfar player a red card.[LNB]He should be back in contention for the visit of Inverness on March 4, although it is still unclear when Nacho Novo will return after sustaining ankle damage against Dundee United last month.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
