McCoist: We need reinforcements

Rangers manager Ally McCoist is even more determined to bolster his squad further after claiming they were down to the bare bones for Tuesday night's Ramsdens Cup win over Falkirk.
The Ibrox side completed the signing of French defender Sebastien Faure earlier in the day, subject to international clearance, but his arrival was tempered by the news that centre-half Dorin Goian has joined Serie B outfit Spezia Calcio on a year-long loan.
Speaking after the 1-0 win at Falkirk, he said: "It will be a relief when I get a few in. I think it was inevitable that we would lose some players. My biggest concern is when we don't replace them."
Maurice Edu also looks set for the exit door after his agent informed Rangers of interest from Stoke City, while Ipswich have tabled an offer.
McCoist will be unable to recruit new players when a 12-month transfer embargo comes into effect on September 1.
He added: "I keep going on about the numbers and we've lost in the region of 25 and we've brought in nothing like that, we've brought in a very minimal amount.
"We were down to the bare bones tonight when you looked at the bench. We definitely need to strengthen, of that there is no doubt."
McCoist has high hopes for Faure, who penned a three-year deal after a successful trial.
The manager added: "Sebastien is a 20-year-old lad and he will be good for us. He's another one for the future although I hope he goes into the team and plays.
"He is young, aggressive enough and has a good attitude to play. I think he will do well. His future is in front of him and hopefully that will be at Ibrox."
