But the Ibrox assistant boss claims there are no plans at the moment to make a move for the Saints midfielder in the summer.[LNB]Dorman has been in fine form recently, with four goals in the last four games bringing his tally for the season to 11.[LNB]His efforts for the Paisley club have apparently not gone unnoticed, with both Rangers and Celtic reportedly preparing to make a summer swoop.[LNB]"He's a very good player," said McCoist.[LNB]"I've watched him a few times, as I have the entire St Mirren side.[LNB]"He has something that a lot of midfielders don't have and that's the ability to make a late run into the box, find a bit of space and finish.[LNB]"He can do all of those things. To score 11 goals from the middle of the park for a team who is not in the top half of the league is a tremendous achievement.[LNB]"Certainly, I would think we would have to watch him at the weekend."[LNB]McCoist added: "Do I think he could crack it at Ibrox? Well, he would have to sign here first.[LNB]"To my knowledge, there is nothing imminent at all in that department."[LNB]St Mirren have claimed shock victories over both halves of the Old Firm this season and McCoist believes that is enough reason to be wary of their opponents at Hampden on Saturday.[LNB]He said: "We've already lost at Love Street and St Mirren have already knocked Celtic out of the cup.[LNB]"I would say that St Mirren and Hearts are the two most improved sides in the league this year.[LNB]"I've seen St Mirren a few times and they do very well.[LNB]"Any success that St Mirren have, in my opinion, is down to their work-rate and their team ethic.[LNB]"They don't have any superstars in their side but, what they do have, is a group of players who are hell-bent on working for each other."[LNB][LNB]
