McCoist expects test against Butcher's boys

Rangers assistant manager Ally McCoist has warned his players they will be facing one of the most spirited teams in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League when they tackle Inverness on Saturday. Inverness are one of only two teams to have taken SPL points off Rangers this season, Eric Odhiambo's 81st-minute strike earning Caley Thistle a 1-1 draw at Ibrox in October. Terry Butcher's team have since stretched their unbeaten away record in the league past the 12-month mark and McCoist believes his former Rangers team-mate has instilled a special team spirit in the Highlands. "I have to tell you, that's one of the stories of the season so far - the performance of big Terry's team," McCoist told Blues News. "The achievement of being unbeaten in the league (away from home) for over a year, for any team, is incredible. You can never, never underestimate that achievement. "Big Terry has got boys that want to play for him and boys that want to play for each other. When you've got that, you've got a chance. They are a really hard-working, honest, good team, so it's going to be a tough game."
