Mackay factor attracted Conway
Cardiff's new signing Craig Conway has said the prospect of working with Malky Mackay was impossible to turn down.[LNB] The 26-year-old winger joined the Bluebirds on Thursday on a free transfer from Dundee United after rejecting an offer from Rangers.[LNB]"Cardiff City is a massive club and Malky Mackay has made a huge impression on me," Conway told the club's website after signing a three-year deal. "I think he's a fantastic manager, as he showed during his time at Watford, so he being here was a major factor for me."[LNB]Conway spent five years at Tannadice and scored twice as he helped United to the Scottish Cup in 2010.[LNB]He added: "It was time to leave the SPL at this stage of my career. I'd been thinking that way for some time. I've watched a lot of Championship football and always fancied coming down to test myself at this level and above."
