Little: Rangers aiming to extend lead

Celtic cut the gap on the SPL leaders on Wednesday with victory over Hearts, while Rangers scraped a draw at Motherwell.[LNB]The move was a rare glimmer of light for Celtic in a disappointing couple of months that has seen them gradually slip away from Rangers.[LNB]But Rangers manager Walter Smith has warned there is no room for complacency inside Ibrox and Little believes they have to use the visit of Hibernian on Sunday as the start of another winning run.[LNB]"The cushion is nice but we don't want to sit on that," said the striker.[LNB]"The manager keeps stressing to us that we need to keep pushing on and not just be happy to have that cushion.[LNB]"We want to extend the lead, no matter what other teams do, it's all down to us.[LNB]"If we can get the form we had in December we can push on.[LNB]"We need to find a run that we found at the end of last season, we went something like 11 games unbeaten with 10 wins and a draw.[LNB]"That's the kind of form that we need to show because there are other teams, Hibs and Celtic included, who are capable of doing that as well."[LNB]Abdessalam Benjelloun is hoping Hibs avoid another hammering after being beaten 4-1 by Rangers in December despite taking the lead through Anthony Stokes after only 13 seconds.[LNB]Benjelloun, whose late penalty sealed a comeback from two goals down in Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Aberdeen, is optimistic this weekend's trip to Govan will be more reminiscent of the 1-1 draw between the sides back in October.[LNB]The Moroccan said: "We have a big chance to finish second or third.[LNB]"We will have to take a minimum of one point from Ibrox. We did very well the last time we were there and so they will be thinking that Hibs are coming to play good football and to take three points.[LNB]"But if we play our game we will see another Hibs than the one we saw in the 4-1 defeat.[LNB]"We started that game very well but after that we made mistakes. We gave the ball to Rangers to play and they had four chances and scored four goals."[LNB][LNB] Scottish Premier Winner 2009/10 Win Outright: Rangers 1/3
