Reigning champions Rangers suffered their first Scottish Premier League defeat of the season, a 1-0 loss away to Kilmarnock on Sunday, as their lead at the top of the table was cut to four points.

Manuel Pascali headed the only goal of the game 10 minutes from time at Rugby Park to give Kilmarnock a first home win over Rangers since 1994.

Defeat denied Rangers a 15th consecutive league away win and left them just four points clear of arch Glasgow rivals Celtic following the Hoops' 5-0 thrashing of St Mirren on Saturday.
