Croatia striker Nikica Jelavic is set to become Walter Smith's third summer signing for Rangers. Jelavic will arrive at Murray Park on Friday for a medical and to conclude personal terms after the Ibrox club finally reached agreement with Rapid Vienna. The Croatian refused to play for Rapid in Thursday night`s Europa League play-off against Aston Villa as he tried to force the Austrian club into paving the way for the transfer which will reportedly cost the Ibrox club around £4million. Chief executive Martin Bain told the club's official website: "We have agreed a fee with Rapid for Nikica Jelavic and we have also agreed personal terms in principle. "He will arrive tomorrow (Friday) when we will hope to complete these and when he will also undergo a medical."
