Injured Martin back at United

Teenage winger Lee Martin has returned to Manchester United for treatment on the knee problem he picked up during his loan spell with Rangers.

The 19-year-old could miss the games against Inverness and Livorno and Gers boss Paul Le Guen hopes United will be able to get to the bottom of the problem.

"Lee Martin has a problem with his knee which is a bit worrying and it leaves us short of wingers," Le Guen told the Gers' official website.

"It is bad luck, but we must keep our head up and keep working.

"Lee will see the Manchester United doctor on Monday. He has been troubled by this for three weeks after taking a knock on his knee and I am little bit worried by this.

"Our doctor will work in conjunction with Manchester United and hopefully we can find a solution."
