Holloway hopes to seal Adam deal

The Scotland international impressed while on loan last season and Holloway likes what he has seen in the 23-year-old. "I don't think his wages will be a problem, but it all boils down to whether the chairman can come to a deal with Rangers for him," Holloway told Sky Sports. "I've seen a couple of DVDs of the lad and he looks a fantastic player that is very calm and calculated on the ball, so we will be trying to come to an agreement for his services. "He's very good with the ball at his feet, attacking the opposition defence, so he would be a great addition." Holloway has yet to make his first new signing since taking over the reins at the Seasiders from Tony Parkes and he revealed that he is in no rush. "There won't be a great number of players coming into the club, but I'm probably four or five players short of the squad that I want," he added. "I will be taking my time to bring the right players in though and if I have got to borrow them from other clubs then I will do. I've checked through the free transfers list and to be fair to them most of the better ones have been taken already. "Clubs just don't let their better players leave for nothing if they can help it. "I will be looking at clubs that have big squads and trying to borrow a few to supplement what we already have here. It is nice to have some available spaces to try a couple of things out during pre-season because we aren't in any debt and we can afford to take our time in bringing the right players to the club. "We can now try to pick the bones out of the other clubs which can't afford to keep what they have already got." Coca Cola Ch'ship Promotion 09/10 Win Outright: Blackpool 20/1
