Hamilton: Weir incident closed
Hamilton safety officer Tom Purdie revealed Weir was hit with a five-pence coin during the Ibrox club's 1-0 Scottish Premier League win at New Douglas Park on Saturday.[LNB]Accies apologised to Rangers and appealed to their fans for information, vowing to look through CCTV footage to identify the culprit.[LNB]The SPL are awaiting the report from match delegate Alex Smith but Hamilton secretary Scott Struthers tonight claimed the incident was closed.[LNB]Struthers said: "It has not been mentioned in any report. The match delegate has not reported it, the police have not reported it. Rangers have not complained.[LNB]"The matter has been dealt with."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
