Rangers manager Ally McCoist has confirmed Dorin Goian has been given the green light to face St Johnstone on Saturday.[LNB] The Romania international completed his move from Palermo earlier this week subject to a work permit and international clearance.[LNB]He has now been granted the necessary paperwork and McCoist is also hoping he will be able to feature in next Wednesday's Champions League qualifier second leg against Malmo despite reports to the contrary.[LNB]He said: "He can play tomorrow, the bit of paperwork has come through.[LNB]"We are still hopeful that he can play next Wednesday too and that's in the hands of the SFA.[LNB]"Our reading of the situation is that UEFA have batted it back to the SFA so it's in their hands."[LNB]However, skipper David Weir misses the visit to Saints with a hamstring problem and has been rated doubtful for the trip to Sweden.[LNB]Meanwhile, McCoist says he is still interested in Dundee United striker David Goodwillie, Wesley Verhoek of ADO Den Haag and Anderlecht defender Roland Juhasz.[LNB]Aston Villa defender Carlos Cuellar also remains on the radar, even though he is recovering from injury.
