Poland international Kamil Glik has admitted he snubbed a move to Rangers in favour of joining Torino.[LNB] Palermo were willing to offload the 23-year-old centre-back despite signing him from Piast Gliwice just last summer.[LNB]Glik was sent on loan to Bari in December and was unable to save them from relegation during his 16 Serie A appearances.[LNB]Rangers made a move for the nine-cap international, who had been on the books at Real Madrid earlier in his career.[LNB]But Bari coach Giampiero Ventura then took charge at Torino and he persuaded Glik to sign for the Serie B side instead.[LNB]"I had agreed a move in principle to sign for Rangers," he told the Daily Record.[LNB]"My terms were sorted out and I know Rangers had reached an agreement with Palermo.[LNB]"But I wasn't to know the Torino coach Giampiero Ventura, who was with me at Bari, would come in at the last minute.[LNB]"I know Rangers will be a little annoyed at this but I was very impressed with Torino."
