Gers snap up Whittaker

Rangers have clinched the signing of Hibs defender Steven Whittaker on a five-year deal.
The 23-year-old becomes the Gers' ninth signing of the summer after moving to Ibrox in a £2million deal.
Whittaker had spent all his career at Easter Road, making 172 appearances for the club.
He was also a regular in the Scotland Under-21 side and won a call-up into the full squad last year under current Gers boss Walter Smith.
