Gers dominate PFA Scotland awards

Rangers midfielder Steven Davis has won the PFA Scotland Player of the Year award, while team-mate Danny Wilson took the Young Player of the Year honours.

Twenty-five-year-old Northern Ireland international Davis has been instrumental in his side's march to the SPL title and believes that he can improve further in the future.

He told the club's official website: "The award means a lot. For any player to get something like this is always special and being voted for by your peers is great.

"I've obviously been happy with the way things have gone this year and it's a big honour to get the prize, but I think there's still more to come from me.

"As a player you are always looking to improve and since I've been at the club I think I've progressed each season."
