The two-day pre-season tournament at the Gunners' Emirates Stadium - which is in its third year - will be played on the weekend of August 1-2. Two matches will be played each day, at 2pm and 4.15pm, with one ticket giving fans access to both matches. The tournament kicks off with Rangers v PSG, followed by Arsenal v Atletico. The following day sees PSG take on Atletico, with the tournament finishing when Arsenal play Rangers. Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis said: "We are delighted to be once again hosting the Emirates Cup in August 2009. "Atletico Madrid, Rangers and Paris Saint-Germain all have great pedigree and will contribute to an exciting weekend of pre-season football. "Following the huge success of the Emirates Cup tournaments in 2007 and 2008, we are delighted to once again be offering supporters the opportunity to watch two high-quality matches each day over a weekend, for as little as £25 a ticket per day. "The tournament will of course also provide a very competitive level of preparation for all the teams ahead of the 2009/2010 season." Rangers boss Walter Smith said: "The Emirates Cup will capture the imagination of our supporters and everyone at the club is looking forward to competing against Arsenal and PSG. "Arsene Wenger's side are one of the best in Europe and their young team will provide a stiff test for our players. "However, it is a challenge they will all relish and our fans will enjoy both matches at the state-of-the-art Emirates Stadium." Chief executive Martin Bain added: "It was an honour to be invited by Arsenal, who like us have a rich history and proud traditions, and we look forward to renewing our friendship in London this August. "Our fans will give the team great support in these two high-profile matches and there is little doubt it will be an entertaining tournament." Teams will be awarded three points for a win, one point for a draw and will also earn one point for each goal they score in the competition. The winners will be presented with the Emirates Cup after the second match on Sunday.
