Rangers manager Ally McCoist is hoping the club can agree new contracts to keep Allan McGregor, Steven Whittaker and Steven Davis at Ibrox.[LNB] McGregor has emerged as a target for former Gers boss Alex McLeish at Aston Villa, although the SPL champions' owner Craig Whyte has insisted the goalkeeper is not for sale.[LNB]The versatile Whittaker has recently turned down a new contract at the club as Gers battle to fend off interest from Turkish side Bursaspor.[LNB]Northern Ireland midfielder Davis, meanwhile, revealed at the end of last season that he would be prepared to sit down and discuss a new contract.[LNB]With Gers having missed out on several transfer targets so far this summer, McCoist is anxious not to lose any key members of his squad.[LNB]McCoist said: "Negotiations are ongoing with Whitts and Greegs. [LNB]"Negotiations with Steve Davis' agents are just about to start as well. [LNB]"We are really keen to keep those lads because they have been important to the club in the recent success we have had. It's safe to say, there's no way that we want to lose them."
