ew Rangers boss Ally McCoist has confirmed there will be no marquee signings arriving at Ibrox Park this summer.[LNB] McCoist admits his squad is down to the bare bones as he prepares for his first season in management.[LNB]And McCoist insists quantity rather than quality will be the aim for Rangers, and he has warned the club's fans not to expect another £4million arrival like Nikica Jelavic this season.[LNB]"We need to get bodies in rather than spend everything on one position again," McCoist said. "That would be madness.[LNB]"We need too many players to do that again. Our four loan players - Vladimir Weiss, Kyle Bartley, El Hadji Diouf and Ricky Foster are all away and we had a small squad before that.[LNB]"We don't need to panic because we know what we need and we have targets. It depends on finance and what we can afford.[LNB]"The first thing we need to do is strengthen defensively, but the scouting boys here have been brilliant and built up a good portfolio of players."
