Gers fans set to grill Ibrox board

The cash-strapped club are reportedly £31million in debt and the search continues for a buyer for Rangers after Florida-based businessman Graham Duffy recently outlined his plans for a possible takeover.[LNB]Manager Walter Smith, out of contract in January, is expected at the annual general meeting at Ibrox on Monday morning.[LNB]Fans say there will be some persistent questions about the club's future and financial security.[LNB]Stephen Smith, chairman of the Rangers Supporters' Trust, said: "I think it will be tangibly different from previous years. Those there are going to be looking for answers.[LNB]"I think supporters are extremely concerned by a number of things.[LNB]"Questions will cover where the club is going and what the current board are doing to secure the future of Rangers Football Club.[LNB]"Lloyds (Bank) have far too large a hand in the running of Rangers Football Club.[LNB]"The new chairman Alastair Johnston's profile has been far too low at a time of crisis. We were looking for leadership and direction and some indication how the board saw a way out of the crisis.[LNB]"All we have heard is tension in the boardroom and that is not acceptable.[LNB]"We want to see the takeover and stability in that boardroom."[LNB]Asked whether supporters feared players could be sold for less money as a result of the need for a cash injection in January, Smith said: "I don't think there's a fear, more expectation that will happen.[LNB]"The only things that are liquid are the training ground at Murray Park and the players - players we need to return to European football and decent income gain."[LNB]The meeting is expected to begin at around 1100 GMT.[LNB][LNB] Scottish Premier Winner 2009/10 Win Outright: Rangers 11/8
