Anderlecht have told Rangers their latest bid for Roland Juhasz still falls way below their valuation of the defender.[LNB] Ally McCoist is desperate for defensive cover after learning Dorin Goian will not be available for their decisive Champions League qualifier against Malmo on Wednesday. [LNB]A hamstring injury to David Weir has created a gap at the heart of their defence, but Rangers failed to meet the deadline with UEFA for completing Goian's paperwork. [LNB]The Scottish champions had an initial offer for Juhasz blocked last weekend before coming back with their latest offer, thought to be in the region of £2.5million. [LNB]Yet Anderlecht are holding firm and have stated the Hungarian will not be allowed to leave for below their valuation. [LNB]"We received a second bid from Rangers which is way below our valuation," a spokesman for the Belgian club said. [LNB]"It is not enough for an experienced player such as Roland. Last season we extended his contract. He is one of our experienced leaders." [LNB]Juhasz himself has urged Anderlecht to sanction the move.[LNB]The 28-year-old dhnet.be: "I'm curious to know if British football is something for me. It intrigues me.[LNB]"I am 28, it's the last time to make a large transfer. It's a sporting and not financial choice. I can always go to Qatar or Dubai afterwards, but I'm not interested now.[LNB]"I'm ready for a new challenge. If I can leave now, I prefer now. It depends on the clubs.[LNB]"I'm concentrating on football. I have not had a contract offer from Rangers, but it would be the easy part."[LNB]On what he believes his own valuation to be, Juhasz added: "Five [million euros] is too high. I think I'm worth two million to three million. Rangers will perhaps make a new offer, who knows?[LNB]"I have given myself fully here, but after six years, I need a new challenge. I am beginning my seventh season at Anderlecht.[LNB]"I'm ready to play in a new league, with a new challenge. I need a change. In the modern game, players spend only three or four years at a club."[LNB]However, the player says he will only consider a switch to Glasgow if he has the blessing of Anderlecht.[LNB]He said: "Let's be clear - I will not conflict with Anderlecht, where I have had no problems for six years.[LNB]"It is a very professional club where there is never any problem of payment. I do not want to go to war in the press, either."
