Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu says there is a '50/50' chance of him playing against Valencia on Tuesday evening. [LNB] The American has travelled to Spain with the rest of the Gers squad for the Champions League Group C encounter despite sustaining a knock in his side's 1-1 draw with Inverness at the weekend.[LNB]However the 24-year-old, who scored Rangers' only goal against Caley, admits he will have to wait and see how the injury holds up in training before the decision is made over his inclusion at the Mestalla.[LNB]When questioned on his chances of running out in Spain, Edu told Sky Sports News: "I'd say 50/50.[LNB]"We're going to get over there and have a training session and see how it is and if I can train or not.[LNB]"It's feeling a little bit better but again, I'm just hoping to be fit for tomorrow.[LNB]"Obviously it's a big game and I want to be a part of it so fingers crossed."[LNB]Walter Smith's side have enjoyed an encouraging start to their European campaign, securing a win and two draws in their opening three games to go second in their group behind Manchester United. [LNB]Edu was on target at both ends during last month's encounter with Valencia, scoring his debut Champions League goal before cancelling it out with an own goal in the second half for a 1-1 draw at Ibrox.[LNB]While insisting the heat is on both teams to get a result on Tuesday, Edu feels Valencia will be feeling the added weight of playing in front of a home crowd. [LNB]"There's pressure on both sides," he said. [LNB]"Obviously they're playing at home, and not getting a win when they came over to Ibrox is going to put pressure on them to perform at home in front of their home fans. [LNB]"But it's also a big game for us and we're looking to get something out of it."
