Gattuso makes U-turn

AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has dismissed reports suggesting he wants to end his career at Rangers.
The World Cup winner had a successful 15-month spell in Glasgow early in his career, before being sold by then manager Dick Advocaat to Salernitana in 1998.
Gattuso, who is married to a Scot and is contracted to AC Milan until 2011, was quoted as saying he was keen on returning to Ibrox but now insists he was misquoted.
"Be calm, I remain with you," he told Milan's official website. "I want to end my career at Milan and Adriano Galliani knows it. For me, the only possibility is to end with the Rossoneri.
"The problem is that the journalists have all written contrary to what I have said. I had only declared that Rangers gave me the possibility to play professionally, but I want to end my career at Milan, as everyone else knows.
"If this was not to happen it will only be when my performances were not completely 100 per cent.
"All I know is Scottish football appeals to me but, after eight years at Milan, I do not see other possibilities not to finish my career at this club."
