Despite currently being under a one year transfer embargo, Rangers have acted quickly in adding new faces to their threadbare squad by signing players on pre-contracts in preparation for their Division Two campaign.

Most noticeably among these new faces is Dundee United talisman Jon Daly. The Irish striker netted on 15 occasions last season, most noticeably in United’s 4-3 Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic. Daly has signed on a two-year deal.

Also set to join the Rangers stroke force for next season is Queen of the South striker Nicky Clark, who has just helped the Doonhamers clinch promotion to the First Division. Clark himself was a major asset in Division Two last season, scoring an impressive 41 goals in all competitions, as well as winning the PFA Scotland Division Two Player of the Year.

Kilmarnock ‘keeper Cammy Bell is also set to make the move to Ibrox with his contract having expired with the SPL outfit, with details of his new contract still to be released.
