Ferguson ankle op on hold

Rangers captain Barry Ferguson has confirmed he will postpone ankle surgery until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old Scotland midfielder has been plagued by ankle problems for the past few months but has been told by a specialist that surgery can wait until the summer.
Ferguson though will miss Wednesday night's Scottish Cup quarter-final meeting with Partick Thistle.
"I have had a course of treatment and there's no need for an operation at this point," he told the Scottish Sun.
"I have to wait 48 hours for the ankle to settle down now before I can do any work so we will have to wait and see.
"But I'm desperate to play my part in the run-in and that was dominating my mind. I'm not for stopping now."
