Edu returns to action for Gers
Edu played 80 minutes of the practice match at Murray Park on Monday afternoon.[LNB]The 23-year-old has been out of action since suffering a serious knee injury in a collision with Darren Dods back in May in the 3-0 win over Dundee United that saw Rangers claim the Scottish Premier League title.[LNB]Edu will now be keen to force his way back into Walter Smith's first-team plans ahead of the World Cup this summer, where the Americans will face England, Slovenia and Algeria in the group stage.[LNB]The Scottish champions have also been boosted by the recent return of Kirk Broadfoot, who trained alongside Edu throughout his rehabilitation.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
